Dunbar Stop Program’s specific mission is to uplift and unite African Americans in the region through a commitment to black community health and well-being. The wellness program and DSF Stop Clinic were founded out of a passion to save lives and provide compassionate COVID education care to the underserved community.
A student organized interdisciplinary group open to all students interested in rural health to learn about and discuss rural health issues, rural practice, and recruitment.

Larry Joe Harless Community Center mission is to enrich people’s lives in our community and the southern West Virginia area by offering health, educational, recreational and cultural opportunities in a moral environment. Contributions impacts the lives of the families in Southern West Virginia.
Healing Appalachia
Healing Appalachia produces events that help connect and grow communities of recovery and healing in Appalachia, raising funds and awareness to combat opioid addiction through a wide array of projects and programs from youth prevention, healthy lifestyles and wellness to recovery houses and recovery to work. Contributions support communities of recovery.

Dryhootch
Assisted at the Dryhootch headquarters to aid in supporting Veterans. The concept behind “Dryhootch” was a desire to establish a café-like environment dedicated to “helping Veterans who survived the war, survive the peace.”

CHASM will strive to seek out the homeless, bridge gaps, & break down barriers to ensure that all members of our community have access to basic medical needs and are treated with the human dignity & respect that everyone deserves.
